I have long been passionate about old fashioned arts and skills, and likewise, loved sharing what I learned with others! I started my first business at age 9, Cora’s Creations, where I sold knit hair scrunchies, homemade herbal lip balms, and handspun wool from my Shetland sheep flock. I grew and changed and so did my business. I started teaching classes, escalated from lip balms to a whole array of medicinal salves, sunscreen, and personal care products. My kitting went from the multicolored acrylic scrunchies of my youth to timeless quality wool pieces and even a few patterns published on ravelry! Spinning and dying wool continued to be a favorite pastime, even when I no longer had my own sheep. In my late teens and early twenties, I taught in person classes locally! Now, I have a few little ones of my own and have started sharing my hobbies and old world skills on my YouTube channel, I am expanding to also share consulting services and more detialed classes here for those who want to dive deeper into these topics with me. It is my greatest desire to grow not just a business, but a community of likeminded people who value these traditional practices and wish to grow and encourage one another on our journeys.
